Just got this kit as a small diversion from semi truck building and was wondering if anyone had built it or if anyone had some insight to what to look out for or to add to on this kit. I really wanted a 1/24 or 1/25 Bentley speed 8 but since I couldn't find that one, I got this kit. -Bob

Oh yeah it did...neat site! Thanks!

...too funny reading Audi's statement in the porsche RS' section....."if you beat us, we will honor you".......silence woulda been golden for them!

I decided to go alitle off the beaten path here with the body color - I wanted something shiney, so she's now in a full coat of alclad II chrome...it'll dull down alittle after I decal it and clear coat it.

Ohhh i want to see that.. The Audis are aluminum, but chrome is common in DTM series for instance ( and was proposed for the McLaren F1 car, but it was voted down by the other teams as being too shiny ).

That is going to be sooooo shiny

I had the luck tho see the real one in action last weekend at the DTM races at Zandvoort

It's a turbodiesel, so it doesn't make that much noise, but it's still an impressive beast alltogether.
