As a little side project and a campaign over on the Bulldogs site, I have started Tamiya's 1/12 scale KTM 250MX with Motocross rider.
I built a few Tamiya bikes in my early twenties (that was decades ago BTW ), and i am enjoying revisiting my youth with this build. Its typical Tamiya quality, as it just falls together.
Anyhoo some pics.
The box
So far with the build.
I am building it out of the box, as I wouldn't have a clue if or where it would need improving.

Looks good so far, Andy. I'm not sure if the orange was a factory color back in the day, but I like it!
I've always enjoyed Tamiya's motorcycle kits, after building my first back in the mid '80s. While some of the older issues might not measure up to today's standards, they are still nice kits with good detail.

Thanks for the feedback guys, glad its looking pretty good in someone elses eyes.
Its more red in the flesh, but the flash does make it go a bit orange.
The bike is finished, apart from some subtle weathering. Subtle as in covering it in mud .
Next is the rider to paint and decal, and also cover in the glorious brown stuff .
