Revell 'Aces Wild' with a mix of parts from both kit options. Pearlescent paint by Rimmel - I like the effect!

Excellent job Dave ! I like how you painting the engine it sets it off just right . Is the paint your own custom blend ?

Thanks Terri
The paint is actually nail varnish! Rimmel 'Green with Envy' applied over Tamiya blue gloss acrylic. I figured that as it was a cheap kit I could experiment and as my daughter has left home she wouldn't want the nail varnish any more........... it went on a treat. The first coat with the brush provided in the bottle and additional coats with a normal brush. Cellulose thinners gets it out of the brush ok.
Apart from the chromed wheels all the 'chromed' parts are painted with an American product called "brush'n'leaf" that I found in my local art shop.
Glad you liked the build!

Nail varnish works well for a lot things in modelling . Mascara works well for grease and stains .

Nice job dave...I like the color change paint but really like the looks of the black motor!
...I should really get back to work on mine!
Terri, I don't recall seeing those "things" at the LHS last time I went....
