Here’s a quickie I’m blasting out for next weekend’s NorEastCon show. It’s a Bobber, a Bobber is sort of a stripped-down custom bike that was cobbled together by hand. Similar to the concept of a "rat rod," Usually there are a handful of parts that you can remove, ranging from side covers to badges and even some chrome bits that serve no other purpose but to provide a shiny surface for onlookers to stare at.
This project started out with the newer 1/12 Aoshima Pink Spider Bike. I will make up a new frame with evergreen as will the Springer front forks. The seat will get a heavy cutting with the tank going on a diet for a slimmer look.
More to follow...
I need to cut more of the seat out, black pen mark shows what will be saved.
Happy Modeling,
Joe

A week to finish, eh Joe...I have faith in you
Never heard the term Bobber, so thanks for the lesson! Did the Aoshima kit come with the Pink Spider tattoo? No, I don't want to see where you put it

Thanks Sven and James. I have my frame finished and working on the springer forks.
It did come with a tattoo, a trible dragon head.
I have no other room or space, soooo it looks like it
Happy Modeling,
Joe
