Hi everybody,
I wanna build a 62 Ford Thunderbird and looked up possible colors with PaintRef.com. What I didn't understand was many colors referring as "poly.". I'm from Germany, so I don't know what it means. To me it looks like metallic colors. Am I right or is it something other? If anybody could enlighten me I would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance, HP

Hello Hans-Peter
Poly usually means polyurethane or polymers paints, which I do beleive refers to what type of binder is used in the paint.

Hi Jesper,
thanks a lot for your reply. So it was only the old color card that provided the odd look. Thes abbreviations aren't very helpful sometimes.
See you, HP
