Finally got her done. Hope you guys and girls like it.
Though it didn't turn out as good as I would like it. I can't complain since this is my first car in over 30 years. The final high gloss coat ended up with an orange texture. Then after spraying the flat coat on the vinyl top, when I removed the tape, it took some of the side decals.

Sweet ride It looks like your vinyl top is a bit rough, maybe using some of that puzzle glue would help hold the sides down?

Yeah, I used the aluminum foil found in a cigarette pack. The rough edgess is a result from the folding of it.

I think you did a good job overall on the model, the model car garage sells a vinly top kit that might work. the paint looks good and you could always try to buff it out that will reduce the orange peel effect.
