the kit supplies a figure and decals for a straight run pose and is usually seen built that way ,, surprised I've never seen it built with other Tamiya figures such as the push start or cornering rider

Finished.
The 'flying 8-ball' on the tank is from a spare aircraft decal.
A few fit issues, mainly down to vague instructions and big fingers!

Thanks guys, I think so too. A bit 'trial and error' as at every stage you have to look at it and decide what would be removed or changed to demilitarise the bike.. worth it in the end though.

made a start after an eventful few weeks/days ,,, real motorcycle stolen last week and used in other crimes ,, presumably a hold up so waiting for police recovery and insurance to go through their processes and hopefully get it returned............ anyways worked out size and cut out a diorama base out of plywood

so the start is underway

Paul, Sorry to hear your bike got “half inched” (first time I’ve heard that one). Hope the Coppers nail that B and you make out all right.

Hi all,
I haven’t been idling — been busy with other projects and painting the R75's rider. I'll probably reattach the sidecar tomorrow and I just might be able to call this one done.

The rider originally had an indent for a rifle on his back which I filled-in, I then replaced it with a messenger bag and loose strap for a bit of additional animation.

Cheers!🍺

So there you have it … BMW R75 w/sidecar ... done! Rode it like he stole it!

Jabo eye-view of the stowage!

I’ll post a couple of finished images to the Gallery when I clear-up some space. This has been a really fun campaign! I'm looking forward to the other builds!

Cheers!🍺

Mike great build buddy, and the resin figure finishes it off.

Half inched? An English thing mate, rhyming slang. As in half inched ......pinched lol

Whoa! You guys are doing some fantastic work. I hope I'm not diving into the deep end! Anyway, here's my start...
Cycle build start by windysean, on Flickr
I love Aoshima kits, and this one is falling together very quickly. I like the different sprue colors. I don't normally work with chrome, so all that clean-up is slowing me down some.
As you can see, I have photos of my coworker's bike, the same model and decal scheme, but different year and engine.
Cheers!
