Thank you, for your kind words, gentlemen.

joel: No big secret there. Primed, with a single coat of, Army painter matt black. Didn't polish the primer, just checked there were no dust or hair in the dried paint.
Top coat is Dupli color trafic orange. Started with a single mist coat. Waited a couple of dayes, for the next coat. Again a light coat, but more than just a mist, this time. Repeated this once more I think(Can't recall, how many coats I gave it) Again, after a few dayes, another coat of paint, this time a "thick" wet coat. Kept spraying tuntil the paint started to level out, but not enough for it to start running.
Waited at couple of weeks, before I started polishing, with Meguiars scratch x and Meguiars liquid carnauba wax. The paint spayed on very well, leveled out nicely(better than most paints I have tried) Didn't need much polishing.

In retro, I think I should have used a white or gray primer, it took to many coat of paint to cover the black primer. I'm quite satisfied, with the end result, but the paint is to thick in some areas, such as door handles and turn signals.

Jesper,
I see. Is the Duplicolor a rattle can? I've got a Meguiars Scratch X 2.0, their various polished and at least 3 different types of wax/polish for my Coupe. But as a car Newbie, I went with the Gravity 3 part system and their wax. I will be experimenting with the Meguairs products as I have so much of it, and it's way cheaper in the long run, and a lot easier to get.

Jesper,
I've never had much luck with any rattle cans spraying way to much paint and generally making a mess of everything. Have you ever tried to decant it? Not that I've done that either, but that's the route I'd take.

Joel: I have never tried to decant spray paint. Always straight, from the can.
You're right, the amount of paint coming out(Tamiya in particular)of a rattle can can be high. It does take some getting used to.
