Hey guys,

I have a few questions about the campaign.

1- How does one post a build blog in the Porsche thread as one update post won't follow your last one. Seems to me that the more builds posted, the harder it is to follow any of them.

2- is there a campaign ribbon awarded at the end of the campaign?

3- Is it mandatory to post a min of two pictures in the campaign gallery section for this campaign?

Thanks,
Joel

Hi, Joel! I've read this post at its time, but only now I've noticed it went un-answered for so long. I was expecting that one of the moderators or the GB administrator to answer it.

1. Yes, following intermixed builds it's more complicated, but this is the whole fun of it, that you are basically "forced" to open up and not to focus on a particular build of a particular guy. On the other hand, being part of a group can be stimulative; if my Mack DM600 would have been a stand-alone thread, probably I would never finished it because I've encountered loads of problems - but seeing the other crossing the finish line one by one gave me every time the necessary "jolt". My advice is to have a look at the "How about another..." GB to gain a better insight on AutoModeler GB customs. Also, if you are willing to dig deep enough, another excellent GB was "Hemi versus Chevy", concluded some two years ago (I guess).

2. Yes, they were preliminary discussion on this - I can design a badge if need to.

3. Yes.

Sorry I have assumed a role doesn't belong to me - I just found your questions being legitimate and the lack of answer being wrong.

Cheers!
Gabriel

Gabriel,
Thanks my friend for taking the time to reply to my campaign questions. the only ones I've ever entered were mostly on Armorama (many years ago), and a few on Aeroscale.

I'm thinking that for my updates I'll just find my original intro post for the 956 and do the update as a reply, kind of like how Torsten does his model assembly lines.

I guess that Damian is pretty busy these days as we don't often see him, but such is life. I know as I had plenty of years just like that. I would drop him a pm with your ideas for a ribbon. I'm sure he'd appreciate the effort and thought.

Joel
