Looks good Jesper. Even if it's a Chevy, I'm sure you can push it over the finish line in time.

After a lot of filing, cutting, and cursing, I finally got the frame, interior and body to lign up.
BMF is done, lights glued in place. This is just a dry fit, I need to re-paint the interior, in a few places.

I think this will actually be finished this year

Looks great Jesper! Fingers crossed you can get it over the line!

I am gonna try to paint the interior tonight. Regardless, I am gonna try to push this past the finish line before 12/31!

This is probably gonna be one of those models I rebuild years from now.

Well boys, I don't think she will get wrapped up by 12/31. With a constant work schedule and my daughter getting sick AGAIN, I just don't have the time to button it all up.

Total ready for Garage Queens 2020 tho. LOL

Charlie, we've all been there mate, on a regular basis for me! I hope your daughter is on the mend now.

As Mark said, roll it over into the 2020 Group Build and carry on!

My best wishes for your daughter's speedy recovery.

As the guys already said, there's the 2020 version of the Garage Queen's GB. So time is always on your side.

But have no Fear, if you don't finish by Tuesday night, there's Garage Queens 2020. Ready to welcome you with open arms and another 366 days to "git er done".

I'm calling this one DONE.
Just a few quick shot's, with the cell phone. Will take better shot's, with the "real" camera later. The red is a lot darker/deeper in real life, then the cell p. images show.

Our Group Build Leader Gabriel (Szmann) has been MIA for quite a while now. I have been in touch with him via Facebook and he has been extremely busy with his work in property management during the peak tourist season where he lives.

I will drop him a line to remind him that he needs to award the ribbons here, but if it isn't sorted in the next couple of days I will arrange it myself.

Well done to those of us who managed to get a completed build, commiserations to Jim whose almost-finished Kenworth was written off in a Cat-astrophic pet incident (see what I did there ), and onwards to the GQ2020 for all of us to go around once more!

Many thanks to everybody who contributed here, it's always great fun.

Cheers, D

Ok folks, I have been in contact with Gabriel a couple of times to remind him to award the ribbons here, but it appears that he is just too tied up with real life activities at present (frustrating but perfectly understandable, we all need to pay those bills), so I have gone in and sorted it out.

Hwa-Rang (Jesper) - 1/25 55 Nomad Completed
md72 (Mark) - 69 Z-28 Camaro Completed
AussieReg (Damian) - 1/25 55 Nomad El Camino Conversion Completed
RussellE (Russell) - 1/24 Revell Trans Am Completed
eMan (Lap Man) - 1/32 Arii 55 Daihatsu 3-wheel delivery truck Completed

Please check and make sure that the ribbon has hit your profile and let me know if there are any problems.

Many thanks once again to all contributors, let's roll those unfinished builds over to the GQ2020 thread and "GIT 'ER DONE!!"

Cheers, D

Ribbon's there and looks pretty good. Even managed to lay down some paint on my Garage Queen 2020 tonight.
