Hi guys
Was walking through a hobby shop the other day and came across this Tamiya TMAX that I have never seen before (even if it has been out for years ) what I liked about it, is that it came with a figure. Little did I know at the time it was one of those rubber type figures not the hard plastic type Tamiya usually does. Anyway I have never done a bike or car before and the cheapish price that it was I thought it would be a good step into shiny things.

G'day Peter.

Great little video there mate, nicely done. Great to see you venture into the glossy side of modelling, hopefully we see a few more of your builds here.

Cheers, D

Thanks mate
The kit went together well but not a fan of -
Stickers instead of decals
The coloured parts that when you cut off spur show a different colour underneath.
The rubber type flexible figure
Other than that it is a nice kit for a beginner....... like me
The kit falls together and would be great for a child starting out. It took me more time to edit the video than building the kit

Hi, Peter!
Nice video and well edited. As an Tutube fellow, I know all too well how much time that takes. Yet you managed a pretty comprehensive one.

It is called plating. The chrome is applied by electrolysis over the sprue. All manufacturers have the plastic color under the chrome (most usually white or black, not yellow like in your case).
