Hi Joel. The ribbon needs to be in .gif format and dimensions 50x20. I use "Paint" as a program to crop and resize and save in different formats, it's super easy.
Idea #1 for a ribbon. I found a nice photo of an actual Blue Oval badge, chrome surround and all, cropped it and resized to what we need for a ribbon.
Thoughts and opinions?

Nicely done. I also had one very similar to yours, but was concerned how it would look reduced to the actual size needed. So I opted for a more "Plain Jane" emblem instead. But after seeing yours reduced to the correct size, the chrome trims do show as separate pieces. Which I really like.
Since everyone likes it, I'd say lets use it. So I uploaded the needed info and the ribbon as well. You can see how the ribbon looks as it now appears in our campaign.
Our membership has now officially grown to 9. Thanks to all that have signed up so early. I'm really looking forward to a excellent enlistee list.

.Being one to "march to the beat of a different drum" I've just had a quick look at the oppositions lineup
well their experimental range. Option 1 : 1903 EV
option 2 : 1967 .... Comuta EV
or
option 3 : 1973 .... Falcon XB GT coupe V8 Interceptor (Mad Max), in SD/Chibi style.
Options 2 & 3 will be dependant on if I can source suitable wheels. Option 1 would most likely be a hack'n'slash on the ICM Model T.
TBC closer to the start date.

Options 2 & 3 I honestly had to google. Is there actually a model of the 1967 electric car? I'm sure that there's a few Mad Max kits out there, but movie cars have never been my forte.
Personally, I'd love to see you do the ICM 1903 Model T as I'm more of a purest.

For a Chevy guy, you sure know a lot about Fords.
My parents actually owned a 1954 Ford Customline 4 door Sedan that we called Old Betsy. I loved that car, and kept on begging my Dad to save it for me. But that never happened as I didn't get my license till 1965. They also bought a 1961 Black Galaxy 500. That car just never had the Panache of Old Betsy. She sure had a lot of class.

Joel, I'm a car guy, I just have my favourites! I love the 50's and 60's designs, lots of flair and style, lots of chrome, nothing subtle about it at all.
Do you have any photos of Betsy? I would love to see her.
Here is the car that I grew up travelling in and learned to drive in, our 1967 Pontiac Parisienne, about 40 years ago.

I use to seat in the car when it was parked out in front of the house, and make believe I was driving. Of course my feet didn't quite reach the pedals, but I gave that on the column shift stick a real good work out.

Joel, on our side of the pond, it was a Bonneville Wiki claims it was a 4th generation version and it was a big'un. Looks like it ran over 200 inches long, 5.6m, and only came with V-8s.

Thanks for the info. The biggest Pontiac my family owned was a two door Grand Prix. No where near the size of the Bonneville.

It also raced in the Trans Am series which we road racing nuts only cared about. In the 1967 Trans Am, Bud Moore of Ford Racing fame entered three Cougars, two were driven by Dan Gurney, and Parnelli Jones. They ended up finishing 2nd that year. Jones went on to race Mustangs for Moore, and of course Gurney switched to Plymouth Barracudas by the 1970s.
If I only had the needed skills to convert a stock Cougar to a Moore Racing Trans Am, I'd jump on it, but the truth be told is that I don't have 10% of the needed skills.

Jack Roush had Cougars fielded in the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona in 1989 with Mark Martin as one of the drivers one of the two cars. Mark's Cougar won that class.

I love Cougars. I had an '88 with a 5.0 and auto trans that I pulled and replaced with a High Output 5.0 and 5 Speed stick that came from a Mustang GT. I used to autocross and Solo II race it around MA and NH.
A buddy that I ran with had a 67 and a 68 with 351 Clevelands in them. Always liked that body style and have the AMT Cougar Eliminator and the funny car body one as well.
Coincidentally, I met Jack Roush back in 1996 at the New Hampshire track. He was supplying engines to Bryan Wall's team. Bryan's dad John was my inspiration when I started racing. He had a couple SCCA club racing championships and did some test driving for Ford at Sebring. Gave it up when I got married though.

You're a fellow racer from years past too. that was some Cougar you had. I'm betting that it held it's own to your friend's 351 Clevelands. My wife's sister's son had one in a reworked truck that had no business on the streets. As a matter of fact, the courts felt the same way.
I use to race Enduro Karts (Stock lite & heavy) in the IKF North East region back in the late 60s and early 70s. Outside of my home track; Bridgehampton, I loved Bryar Motorpark in NH the most. What a great small track to race on. Always close racing. and like you, after I won my one and only regional championship, I retired, got married, and the rest is history. One thing for sure as the years passed, I think about those days being behind the wheel, and just wondered what would have been if I turned professional? Odds are I'd be pushing up Daisy's.
