Tamiya''s 1/48 scale Salamander came in for a bit of stick when it was released and I couldn''t comment because my own purchase was sat waiting in Japan along with a pre-order for another model. Things had moved on by the time it arrived and the kit got sidelined, but now - hopefully better late than never - is a look at a beautifully engineered model that leaves a few question marks in terms of accuracy...

Hi Rowan!

Nice review, thanks!

It's good to read that Dragon's He 162 is still the best because it's the one I have in my stash. I don't think I will buy the new one. Tamiya should have done a new Fi-156 Storch or a Hs 126 instead!
