Can't resist this one. I think i'll either use the BMW Z8 or the 1/12 Tamiya Rover Mini Cooper(now i finally know why i bought it) from the stash...both have nice large areas for some custom paintwork.

Hey all,

Has this one gone any further? I've got one I'd like to build for this (do I need a change from Armor! ). If it goes to "Campaign," I'm in.....it shows a November 1st, 2007 start, but.....did it start?

Thanks Matt...been going through their site....unfortunately, I can't find a "paint chip chart" for the Boyd's....I'll be doing this vehicle in a "blue," but not sure about sapphire...or arctic blue...or....and, I don't think the LHS has the Boyd's....but they have a lot of the MM paint. We'll see.......

So, has anyone started building?
Got my eyes set on Revell's '67 Chevelle SS396. Haven't started yet though.

Hey everyone. Couldn't resist making a start today on the interior.

Actually i think they're a bit overscale, and i may yet look for a smaller set. But keep in mind my ride is 1/12th scale. Anyone got any tips on what sort of flocking material to use to make them look ...fluffy?

Won't be starting on the main build for at least a month yet- Tamiyas 1/12 Mini Cooper that i got really cheap on EBAY. I only just found out with this campaign why i bought it. I don't even like the real car.

I'm concentrating more upon the paint scheme for this one, rather than extreme modifications... hopefully it will still end up looking "fully sick". I'm not sure if "fully sick" comes across in translation for people in other countries. I think for the local scene here it means something like your ride is really radical...or something like that.

Right now I'm thinking Yellow, orange and red, for my Chevelle. Andrew Lavender and Mike Arctic Blue Metallic, White, French Light Blue/Gray and French Dark Blue/Gray. What a color palette. I have no doubt this will be the most colorful campaign in the history of this site

Andrew: that set of dice(Truckerballs, as we call them in Denmark) looks pretty good. I have no experience with enterior flocking materials, but I do believe they can be used to make the dice fluffy. http://shop.modelbrouwers.nl/catalog/lavender-interior-flocking-material-p-956.html

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy AM parts online? Wheels, interior/exterior detailing and engine detailing.

Jesper,

Is your vehicle 1/24th or 1/25th? If so, here's a guy on eBay that I'll probably get my rims/tires from: Pegasus Hobbies

I've looked at some of the "regular" online stores and they don't seem to have much of anything (at least those I looked at). I'm sure someone here will chime in with some good possibilites...
