Love the overall build. One small nit pick - the position of the purse doesn't work for me. Don't know of a woman who would get in the back seat of a two door and then on top of that leave a purse in the ack window of the car. I'd just move the purse to the front seat.

Great color

Very nice paintjob! I really like that red colour!

Scott, this is obviously a guys-car due to the kit and magazines on the back. That purse is surely from his girlfriend, left there after one of those lucky backseat moments

Sweet! As usual!

James, buddy. You HAVE to do a quick tutorial on how you get those glass-smooth paintjobs every single time! I can't pull off a smooth paintjob to save my life! It's a chore with wetsanding and rubbing compound every time.
Tell us your secret!

By the way, lets see that powerplant!

I thought that exact same thing! I was like "Yeesh, what woman would chuck her purse back there?"

I say, passenger side floor, in front of the seat, leaning against the center console!

I have to agree its a guys car. I don't know too many women that would have Popular Mechanics on thier reading list
So, here's what I suggest, move the purse up front, it would be put down as soon as she got in the car. Then if there was a reason to get in the back, how about a hat or scarf (G rated site and all)

Beautiful work so far James. Smoooooth paintjob. The interior looks great. Did you use some kind of flocking for the carpets?

for the carpets I use "embossing powder" its a super fine metal dust. it works better then flocking IMO, and I can paint it any color I want.
just brush on some white glue and sprinkle it on.

The chassis looks awesome James.
The small amounts of rust, the dirt and the discolored exaustpipes is an excellent touch. Gives some life to the model.

Very nice, it's what I've come to expect from you. Wonderfully done undercarriage.

Did you use pastels, dry brush or MIG powder for the rust?
