The spots are on the A pillar and were popular on a lot of customs in the 50s and early 60s, although I imagine their must of been a '49 Merc. cop car somewhere!

MPC made a snap kit of a 49 Mercury police car in the 70s, I don't know if there were any in real life.

Beautiful job!! That looks really good. Is that a stock hood? I really like the louvers!!

Great clean job on the engine details and window trim.
Is that a pearl of fine metallic in the finish? Nice.
