Have signed on.
Loaded a fresh blade in the knife in readiness .
After much and I have whittled my list of 12 "must build one day" down to 2 victims,
still can't decide if I should go for the 6x6 or the 4x4 version:
6x6 is the Scammell Constructor
4x4 is the Scammell Mountaineer.
Which ever I decide on, it's going to be 1/24th scale.

Casper,
Which ever one you build, I'm sure it will be awesome! That's a lot of scratch building there. Are you going to use a kit as a base?

Jim
Jim,
Probably be 98% scratch.
Scammell have a very unique drivetrain and suspension setup. No kits even come close to whats needed. But thats half the fun of modeling - learning to push your limits and learning new techniques.
Whats everybody else got planned ?.

Casper,
I can assure you that I will not be udertaking anything that ambitious. I look forward to seeing it completed.
I'm planning on a 1976 GMC Astro. Nothing special there, but I'm swaping out the spring suspension & spoke wheels for the GMC air ride suspension & chrome disks from the GMC General. Well, that's the plan anyway.
Bob, are you going to do the Dodge 1100 COE?
Jim

How come I can only get to this campaign from this thread? When I go to the Campaign Page, then go to Automotive, it's blank? I'm confused?

I think I'm going to build my White Road Boss tractor. I want to put in a DD 8V71 and install some steel 2 hole wheels. But then again I also want to do it as a dump truck!! I have one month to decide.....

The DD 8V71 and the 2-hole steel wheels will be great on a dump truck. We've got some dumps around here with spokes, some with 2-hole, some with 5-hole, & some with 10-hole chrome disks.

If I do the dump, it will be with the gravel trailer body cut down.....
Can't wait to get going on this thing...
