It is not as if there is a lot of plastic for your money either! What you get is a basic van body shell, floor pan, doors, wheels and seats.

Am I seeing too little into what is a classic van? Yes it has lovely curves and the likes, but it is after all still just a van.

I would still love to model it again in different formats from my crew cab build on the go, but at a 100 pounds per go,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if you can find one. I don't think so!

Nige,

I think the cost is based strictly on, not so much what it is, but who it was for. "Limited Edition," made for Ford to be given to employees......collectible item versus build item.

My thoughts.

I am sure I saw that kit on a stand at Telford last year for 40 pounds. If someone is daft enough to pay 100 the guy who bought it is laughing.

If Italeri re-release the transit,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the buyer would be mighty sick!!!!!!!!

UPS commisioned a very detailed diecast of one of their delivery vans in 1/32 scale. I think it is for their staff too. I picked it up for 10 pounds in a model shop. It was supposed to be for staff only too but I have seen these popping up from time to time.
