Hi Guys,
I've been looking for a car forum for a year or so-little did I know there's been one right under my nose. I can paint anything. However..I'm more of an illustrator. I have no imagination to design schemes. If anyone's interested I need a scheme for a 1/24 supra. I thought if enough people were interested you can grab the images and print them out if you need to, sheme it up and past your finished ideas for everyone to vote on.
Whaddya think?

I think it's a great idea. I'm not sure I have the skills to make a cool paintscheme, but will give it a try.
What style are you interested in. Subtle graphics, wild intricate graphics, two tone etc. etc.

This is a cool idea....
I'd say to add some text to describe what the paint scheme would be like. Some will want to use Photoshop instead of printing and Photoshop can be a bit rought to manage and the end result will not be as blended or 'delicate' as intended.
I'm going to give it a try

Hi Guys,
Nothing too intricate-I said I can paint anything but I didn't say I wanted too
I build cars to relax. Other than that I'm open to just about anything. I don't want ti dilute the possibilities too much so let's just say I don't want to spend 2 days masking pinstripes. I have a Corvette I did for my son I'll post a photo in here this afternoon-it's only 7:30 AM now and I need some coffee.

Here's my only foray into graphics so far. My son built it then it sat for 6 months so I painted it and suprised him.

Here's one I've come up with. Metallic blue silhouette. The red is a bikini top, you can imagine what I'll have on the hood. Colors?

You are absolutely correct -- you CAN paint anything! Very nice work, indeed. Now I am anxious to see the project when its complete!!

I still have hopes that the project will turn out good, I just need to remind myself the goal is to always enjoy the process, improve when and where I can, but understand that if I only accept perfection, I will be detracting from the reason I build to be

This will be the first time I can say you have made an arse of the model but mean it in the best possible taste! Nice to see the Supra sporting a cheese cutter and low cleavage!
Very tastefully done!

The checkers on the red really do make a big difference. Love the way you integrated the shape of the wheel well with the artwork.
