I work on armor for the most part but have been watching the 08 IRL and having a good time. I was thinking of building a car and thought an IRL car would be fun to do. Does anyone know of any models of the IRL type race cars? Any info would be great.

Just off the top of my head, AMT did a series of Indy cars back in the late 80's - early 90's. I believe Monogram also offered a few IRL kits. AFAIK, there are no currently available kits of these cars, although you might be able to find some of the older kits on eBay or at Model Roundup.

When I get a chance, I will search through my back issues of Scale Auto Enthusiast and try to get some more info on them.
