While I regularly build military models, I have a buddy here at work who wants to jump into the hobby and build car models. This morning he asked me for a good online source to order kits from.
While my list of military model vendors is long, I don't know a good source for car models. Can anyone help me out. He is particularly interested in funny cars and drag racers.
Thanks in advance

I second Scott's vote for Model Roundup. Good inventory, decent prices, reasonable shipping, nice people. I've ordered from them many times and have never been disappointed.

Thanks very much for the advice. Those look like just the ticket.
I don't care what they say, you "car guys" are all right.

Hello Matt,
Another great source for on-line models are on eBay…it’s true. You can find some great buys cheap and what he’s looking for (Funny Car / Dragsters) I’m also going to throw up a few links for aftermarket and a few other build forums dedicated to the racers…..have him click around those site links to find other sources. Also be sure to have him become a member here, love to see what he’s building.
Oval Track Models

Dragcity Models
Randy Ayer's Modeling
BSR Models
Model Car Garage
This is the best source for dargracing products
Dragracing Models
These are just a few of the top....

Wow...I totally forgot about Evers. Two thumbs up for them, as well.
