Well, it's over. I want to thank everyone who participated & a special thanks to those who submitted entries. All of the builds looked great.

I promissed a Campaign Ribbon to someone who built a 1/28 Peterbilt for his 3-year old son. He posted pics in the original thread about this campaign, but said that he couldn't post pics in the Campaign Gallery because his account was full (or something like that). Anyway, I told him he didn't have to post there, and that the Campaign Thread would be ok. Well, that thread is gone, I cannot remember who that was. So, if that was you, and you want your ribbon, post a pic of that happy 3-year old again.

Ok, we had (20) people sign up for the campaign, and four people submitteed trucks. That's 20%. Is that good for a campaign? I have no idea as this was my first one. Here is who completed trucks:

Thanks agian to all who participated. Keep the hammer down, keep building, and keep the bugs off your glass & the bears of your ___!

Repost of my March 30, 2008 submission

I finished my Peterbilt truck I assembled for my 3 year old son. It took us a couple hours, but he had fun.

This is what I started with, and it was difficult to get photos of the truck without my son in the shot. As you can tell, he is tickled to death.

I did not see a campaign gallery to upload my photograph and I have not been able to upload any photos into my own gallery for quite some time.

Apparently, I can once again post in the gallery.

Thanks, sabot. I'll make sure you get the Campaign Ribbon.

And if anyone else has a truck they still need to submit, get it posted so you can get your ribbon, too.

Hey Sabot, does that truck still look good? I know if "my" 3yr old had it, it'd be well worn!
I have to keep him on a very short leash...every time he comes down here{basement} he makes a bee line right for the models and the work table to see what's up...

For all those who didn't finish{me too as I didn't finish the other two I wanted to get done}...let's keep the trucking aspect going. Toss some pics up and show us where you left off at and we can cheer you on as you continue to build. I spent way too much time this summer away from the work table, so I know how time can slip away.
I'll toss some pics up in the next few days of my wrecker and the dodge...I could use some fresh perspective on how to finish them....let's keep the trucks going!

It is well worn now. It was used to re-create the Speed Racer movie scenes along with a pair of Jada Speed Racer Mach 5 and Mach 6 kits I bought for him a Target. Nice little snap-tite kits that he really enjoyed.

Check you're profile. I "distributed" them back in September.
