Thanks guys for all the great comments, you are correct Erik cars this old in America didn't have seat belts either but mine will be made of rope so they should look wright at home on the rat, still a few more details to add and i am not to crazy about the passenger seat i will see what i can come up with for that i have an idea just have to pull it off. Please share any ideas you have on the rat rod i may or may not use them but some times they lead me in the wright direction.

Thanks Jesper i am painting the fuel tank now and wait till you see the new passenger seat, i say go for it and build your own rat rod remeber it doesn't have to be from the 20's, 30's, or 40's i have seen a few from the 1950's and i am shore with all the cars you build you must have lots of spare parts.

The Rat is finished, i think this build was more fun than any other i have done in the last 5 years you get to be creative and really use your imagination it's like therapy without the huge doctor bill. Give a Rat Rod build a try i think you will enjoy it i did. Check out the pics there are a lot of them and feel free to let me know what you think.

Very cool project. Interesting idea. I esp. like the engine wiring and plumbing. These pics will help me finish the engine on my Cranemobile.

Another excellent build, with a ton of fantastic details that really define a "rat rod" and give this model lots of extra punch. The paint and weathering are really outstanding...and where did you get that toilet seat?

Thanks guys for all the great comments, Yoni i made the toilet seat from sheet plastic for the seat i had to laminate to sheets together to get the thickness than i did a lot of sanding to get the shape the cover was cut from i think 20 tho sheet that was easy.

I love this one. It's absolutely briliant. So many great details, that really add to the RR theme.

I browsed some of my spareparts. I found quite a lot of goodies, with rat rod potentiel
I have no doubt, I too will have lot of fun building a RR.

I recently finished a white washed SU122. Some of the techniques I used for chipping/fading the white wash, I can use on a RR build.

Thanks for all the great comments Jesper i am surprised at the level of attention this build got. I agree a lot of the techniques used for weathering armor should work on a rat rod. hold off for a while on that rat rod build i would like our next build to be on a rat rod from 1920's to the 1950's that sholud give everybody plenty of kits to choose from let me know what you think.
