Here's where she stands so far...got a ways to go yet.....
- front shot showing the vents cut out...gotta make headlight covers yet
- rear shot showing the rear vents opened...alot of solvaset to get that decal to dig in to the mesh
- side shot showing the lower side vents modified and opened up...that lil scoop is open and has mesh in it
- interior shot, jury is still out about the silver side walls and I still have to figure out the seat belts
- another interior shot showing the shift gate...no "reverse linkage" need apply here.

Thank you sir...this is the 1/24 scale ARII kit. It's really a slot car kit since it has no engine/trans and little interior detail. That seat was full across, but I made a cover of sorts and the trans shift gate piece. Those screens were "molded in", but I cut them out and used micro screen in their place. I'm, still working on the carb stacks, exhaust placement and a better interior.

Yeah they do...the origonal molded in stuff was ok, but this is better. Now to figure out how to do headlight covers since the kit doesn't give them{nice!}.

That sucks about the headlight covers, you can try and get some clear sheet cut it slightly larger than you nead and heat it near a soldering iron to get the bend it make take a few trys, i have done this before it may work for you to good luck.

Robert, the kit has some kind of headlight covers, but not for this vehicle!
I was thinking of trying your way or to just get the tips up front to touch and glue them...we'll see.........
