Does anoyone know anything.. or have any experience with these lacquer paints?

http://www.hobbyeasy.com/ListProducts.do?para=329&str=category&maker=RICE&spanid=C16632&status=yes

Also, is Tamiya's lacquer thinner appropriate for these paints.. or are there different types of lacquer paints requiring different types of thinners?

Thanks
Hisham

Damn! A whole month with no reply!

This site needs a serious jump-start... or something!

Hisham, buddy. Part of the problem is that your link is dead. I get an error page up when I click it.
Can you re-find the product and re-link to it?

That may get ya some more replies.

The link works fine, although I've never heard of the paint in question and was unable to find anything of note online.

I've only purchased paint online from one source, and that is only because I needed a particular color for a particular build for a very particular "client". Usually I can find what I need at the LHS, the local hardware store, or the nearest auto paint/body supply.

Ahh yes, the link is, indeed, fixed.

I haven't used those brands, Hisham, I wish I could help.

I have never heard of Ricebox paint either, but my initial thought would be no. It's suprising that Ricebox (or Hobyeasy) doesn't offer a thinner for their paint. They sure do have some interesting color names!

Thanks, guys!

I wasn't really being serious in my second post. It's just that I keep hoping this site becomes more "alive" like the rest of armorama.

Anyway... any reply as to the second part of my question... regarding the Tamiya laquer thinner?

Thanks again
Hisham

I've never heard of this brand, so have no idea how they perform.
As to the Tamyia Lacquer thinner question, I have a small bottle of it, and it really doesn't perform any better or worse than my 6 dollar a gallon home depot lacquer thinner.
