Nice friggin racecar!

I have to say, you will be making friends around here, clamoring for YOUR tips and tricks to finishing such a well-detailed model!

Well done man! From the bottom of the tires to the antenna on the roof, bumper-to-bumper, that's a great model!

Was it Revell? AMT?

Great work on your Monte, you shore did put a lot of detail in this build what did you use for reference, I ask because i have a 2007 NasCar Monte i would like to build but i can't find enough good reference pics to do a proper build.

A lot is basic Car engine know how and the how it ends up looking is from a couple of books i bought a long time ago. The books are a lil out-dated but they build them the same way still, by hand and with the same tech and basically the same items as well.

The books are, Stock Car Race Fans Reference Guide
The anatomy and development of the stock car
Behind the scenes of nascar

They are really good books with lots of Pics. I found them on amazon.com

The books Chris is taking about are great, I have a few myself. Also another good source for detail photos is motorsport.com click on the photos and a specific race. Most of the good detail shots are in the practice pics. Kinda got to look around a bit, but well worth the time.
