I am attempting to restore a 1:1 1967 CJ-5, so I had to build up a model of how I hoped it would look when I get done. Hopefully someday, there is alot more to the 1:1 rides that the 1:24th ones.

Nicely done CJ, Tom! I like the look of the beadlocks and those Desert Dogs look good stuffed under the Jeep.

Is it the old MPC kit? And are those seats from a '69 Camaro?

'Give me forty acres and I'll turn this rig around,,,,,,,,,,it's the easiest way that I've found,
Some guys can turn it on a dime or even right down town
But I need forty acres to turn this rig around'

With wheels that big the jeep is going to have half the turning circle it used to have. My brother's Mahindra sufferred a lot from tyre wall damage cause he did not add bump stops to the steering or attempt to raise the suspension.

Love these jeeps!!!!!!!!!! I want one.

I like it...except for the tires. Nige is right. My own Jeep went for three days with fatty tires, then, after the annoying and kinda scary sound of the tires rubbing against stuff they weren't supposed to.

But, the color, interior, seats and dash are all friggin awesome!

Turned out great Tom. Daisy Duke kit huh? I almost bought that kit a while back before my LHS went outta business. I'd still wanna but it if I could find it locally, maybe jack it up a bit and camo it out.
