Hey guys, heres a peak at my latest project.

This is a revell 67' coronet. I wanted to try something a bit different, so I painted the bottom half burgundy mettalic, and the top a bright silver. Tell me what you guys think.

Hey LP,

Those two colors should match real nice....any way to get an "above" front or rear 3/4 shot of the body?

Hey Hunter, that looks nice. I did a Buick Wildcat in a red/black two-tone. It comes out nice. I definitely like the Dodge in the two-tone.

Right on. Keep going!

Thanks Robert and Chris. Unfortunatly after I finished the two tone paint I forgot to clean out the airbrush with thinner so when dad went to use it last night on an airplane the needle was stuck. Took him about an hour to clean it and get it going again.
I am going to start the chasis tonight. I might experiment with lowering the whole car a little bit and give it a stealth look.

Oh man, I'm suprised there's enough left of you to post that!

Hunter, man, if'n you're gonna share tools (especially an airbrush!) y'all gotta leave 'em like ya found 'em! Wow, I'd skin anyone I let use my tools if they left them all over the bench and dirty. I hope you didn't suffer too much, but, let it be a harsh lesson you, hopefully, never have to learn again.

Now, get that build going! I'm diggin' it!

Trust me, if Hunter wasn't a straignt A student (actually never made a B, EVER) and so good at chopping wood and taking care of the animales I may have considered disowning him.
He actually did clean out the AB just like I showed him. Problem is, he cleaned it out with windshield washer fluid but he'd been painting with enamel paint.

See? You are a wise and just man, Hermon. I'm glad it all worked out. I did sound kinda hard on Hunter, there, didn't I? Sorry Hunter, you guys obviously have a good working relationship. Good bench partners! Right on.

Thanks Robert, I decided to give the interior a little pazaz so I painted the center of the back seat and floor gloss black.

Looks real nice...I see they did mold the seat badges in{would be chrome along with the bottoms of the arm rests}...is that a console shifter car? Those old interiors were a sea of body color...everything was body color...even the steering wheel...cept for the dash/gauge pod..that was flat black. My friends was red...alot of red{haha}, but my '66 coronet was any different{alot of medium blue!}.
What are you doing for the rims?...the oem champ 500 5 spoke or aftermarket. Guess we'll wait and see
...oh, how's the progress on the cooper going?

Thanks Jesper. Bob, im using the stock rims and redwall tires. And yes it is a console shifter. The process on the mini is almost complete, been caught up in homework.
Hope to have it finished soon.
