Does anyone know where I can get plumbing lines (online) for 1/24th scale to simulate fuel lines and hoses in the engine compartment??

Now I'm an infrequent auto modeller (haven't built one in about a decade, but that's about to change) but it there any particular reason why one, as an auto modeller, might not use copper wire for plumbing and electics as we do with armour?
