HI Karl,
There are two good matches to Ferrari Red which i have used - Humrols Ferrari Red Gloss Spray can and Tamiyas Ferrari Gloss Red spray can. Hope this helped. By the way, have you thought about joining the Feisty Ferrari's Campaign?
Cheers

Hi Lewis
Not realy built any cars for many a year so i maybe a bit rusty as i build mainly german armour.
But i will have a look in to the Feisty Ferrari's Campaign.
I have the following kits in 1/24 scale.

Revell Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.
Revell Ferrari F430.
Revell Ferrari F1 2005.

Going to start the F1 car first and see how i go

Thanks for the help on the paints.

You can also go for Revell Aqua.
They have Ferrari red. The paint number is 361 34
361 is Revell Aqua and 34 means Ferrari Red.

I don't know if these are available in Europe or not, but the Testors Lacquer line of Paints in the 3oz spray cans have an Italian Red as well.

I actually just built the Revell F430 Ferrari......it came out OK....but it has really turned me off of the Revell Ferraris....seriously thinking about replacing the ones I have with Tamiya, Fujimi, etc.

Friend of mine is building he Revell Enzo and he is saying the same thing. Guess you get what you paid for!

Well, you can't really compare revell to fujimi or even tamiya...revell is the quick and easy builders car...and cheap for the above reason...still not too bad though.

No I supposed for the price, not bad.

There are some fit issues with the F430 though. The rear hood over the engine on mine wouldn't close on its own, so I had to glue it shut, and the piece for the window that separates the interior from the engine bay....well if you install it, then the body doesn't sit down on the chassis, and you will be left with about a 1/8" gap between the bottom of the body, and the bottom of the chassis. Even when you leave it out, it still doesn't fit right.

My friend that is doing the Revell Enzo, says there are problems with the suspension on it.....everything not fitting together right.
