Thanks guys. Sorry Bob, got sumthin really special for this one. Added some Artwork to the page to look over for a while. Just can't decide which of them to turn into decals. The basic color of the Van will be dark metallic blue or Black. Got some fake "Fur" to line the inside and sculpting on a nice "Chickie" to decorate the rear Bed area. That's gonna blow the "PG" rating all to heck!

Sounds good...that decal making thing would be a nice tutorial for some of...ok, me! That aspect of modeling has still eluded me entirely.
Checking the stash...all I have for vans is the jimmy flinstone A100 shell, the deal wheels VW and a hasagawa VW van kit with the flower decal sides.

That Decal Thingy ain't that hard, ya just need a generalized custom printing and graphics program like Printmaster Gold (19 Bucks at Circuit City or Best Buy, heck even WalMart has it). For the Decal paper hit up Bare Metal Foil Co. They've got clear or white backed blank Decal paper for Ink Jet or Laser Printers and a special type of spray topcoat to set them in. Yep, I'll keep ya in mind when I get to that part and do a how-to on it. About that Flintstone A-100 shell, wanna unload it?

I found a site that had all sorts of those pics...would make for some neat vans with those on them.
As for the chickie...you can wip up a scale blanket to PG it up for this site couldn't ya?

Well folks, added some more to the Van section. Doing the gull-wing style opening doors now and their hinge mechanisms. Heck, this is starting to turn into a "How-To" for quite a few things. Oh well, hopefully it'll help someone out there!

Well, there's more to see in the on-going saga of how to customize an A-Team Van. Just hit the link if you want to view it.

Let's just say I've been inspired.

I'm not sure what will become of this kit - OOB build for nostalgia's sake or something else - but I'm sure glad to have found one (at a reasonable price, no less!).

Great to see you getting into the "action" Yoni!!! Vans are alot of fun to build and lend themselves to hundreds of possibilities. The A-Team Van I was working on in my website is now in primer and the interior and chassis are well on the way. have to post more pics soon to get you even more motivated!

And then I found
this.
Eventually, there will be something different brewing on the workbench.
