Does anyone know a good yellow color for the canadian trucking company Robert transport? I have a hankering to do up a truck and trailer in that paint scheme but the few pics I have show either a simple yellow to an orangish yellow, depending on the angle or light in the pic.
Help!.....

Bob,
Had a quick gander at Robert Transport on "Hank's" and I would be inclined to use Tamiya TS-34 Camel Yellow, although it looks fairly dark on the colour swatch it's one of those colours that reacts to different light levels nicely.

Looked really nice on a F1 car a friend built

Hi Bob
It sure does look a lot like camel yellow.I did a kenworth(w900) in that yellow and it looks darn close. It dried more to the darker side with white primer to start with.I am doing the k-100 in yellow also for a diorama.it has come out very orange looking(black plastic).Dont know if that helps or not, shawn.

Thanks guys...I was hoping for some input, let alone some canadian input from someone who'd modelled one of the trucks paint schemes.
...so far tamiya camel yellow seems the choice color..anyone else want to add to that?.......

Bob,
The "Robert's" color is just a 1/2 to 1/4 shade darker than the Tamiya color, not by much. All most reminds me of the old zinc yellow Testors put out years ago. It is an odd-ball color.

BTW, Did you want those Cascadia photo's?

Cool, thanks for the color input, and yes, I'd love the pics.

Bob,
I'll have them to you here shortly. WiFi's been iffy out here lately.
