Here is my first in-progress photo of the Volkswagen police car that I am building.
For the most part the basic construction went fairly smooth. The instruction sheet is very basic and there are no explanations for placing some of the parts. So a lot of dry fitting took place. There was quite a bit of flash to be removed. I still haven't removed all of it. I dry fitted the body to the chassis and I can see that I am going to have to do some shaving and sanding to make the two pieces fit like they should.
I should have another in-progress photo to post soon.
Thanks,
HARV

Hi Jesper. I should have some soon. I did some more work on it last night. I am trying to fill in the seam on the roof. I think I have it pretty much filled. However I managed to break off both windshield wipers in the process!! Once I get it sanded down and sand the body so that it will fit the chassis I will get the base coat of paint on it and post some pictures of that.
Thanks guys and I should have a update soon.

Here is in-progress photo #2.
I have had a hard time with the paint job and almost scrapped the project and dropped out of the campaign. But I decided to stick it out and finish the project even if it turns out looking like c**p.
I should have another update soon.
Thanks,
HARV

Well here is my finished entry.
I can honestly say that I am not very proud of the end result. The paint job turned out pretty bad. I am used to modeling armor projects so I am not used to turning out something that isn't painted a drab color and covered with dust. I guess this is another stepping stone in branching out into other subject areas besides armor. I did learn a few things with this project so I guess that is good. Plus I still need to work on my photography skills. Hopefully my next civilian vehicle project will turn out better.
Thank you for the campaign Tarok. I did enjoy it.
