Hi all,
Here are a few pics I snapped at the oxymoronic National Automobile Museum of Tasmania in Launceston on a recent vacation to Tasmania (the southern island state of Australia for those who's geography is a bit rusty )

Quite a collection with some very interesting stuff. Thanks for posting Rudi.
Is this State owned and run? ( 'National Automotive Museum") a private collection?
Cheers,
Charles

Hi Charles,
AFAIK the Federal government has nothing to do with it, although Tasmanians do think they're a country unto their own Not is it a State owned museum, although they probably receive some sort of compensation. The vehicles in the museum are all working, fully functional, and privately owned. As far as I understand owners may remove their vehicles as they please, be it for taking the car or bike for a afternoon ride/drive or removing permanently.
Glad you enjoyed the pics
