The Kitmaker Staff Challenge (KSC) allowed Kitmaker members vote which model, from a predetermined selection, a participating Kitmaker staff member would build.

While I managed to review the kit nominated, I was not able to complete the entry in time. I had, however, assembled the kit in subassemblies. The photos in this post show these.

The kit's being build OOTB - in fact I may not even add plug leads

Next up is priming, a bit of preshading to the interior and engine, and then getting stuck into the painting proper.

Thanks KSO.

Kit's been primered, and first coat of base laid down. Nothing on telly tonight so I'll rub down the paint flaws and maybe shoot the 2nd coat. I'm just spraying using a Tamiya rattlecan, something I've not done in a while, but I'm being pretty lazy with this build

I'll post pics once the body colour is finished - I don't reckon I'll need more than 2 or 3 coats.

Aerosol can paint is what I mostly use for cars. Should look good and be just fine.
Plan on subtle weathering the engine and chassis or factory new?

Hey KSO,

I think I'll go clean for this one. While I like my military subjects dirty, I generally like my auto subjects clean.
