For those of you who haven't heard yet, the Moebius 2010 International LoneStar is available for pre-order at Tower Hobbies. Apparently it will be available in December 2010. (So does that make it a 2011?) No picture of the kit yet, and it's not currently listed on the Moebius Web site; but this is encouraging news. No information on whether this will be a curbside kit or not. The LoneStar is currently available with a Cummins ISX or International MaxxForce 15L engines with Eaton-Fuller transmissions.

If you've never seen a LoanStar, here it is LoneStar. It's essentially an International 9900 series with a special grill.

Man that thing is funky lookin...looks like a 40's retro{which I'm sure it's supposed to}.
I'd love to see some of the new Macks or even the somewhat old by now Mack Qantum.

Yes, it's funky looking, but it's unique. I kind of like it in an odd, funky looking sort of way. Apparently Erb out of Canada is using them for fleet trucks

Apparently the release of this kit has been pushed back until February 2011.

Jim, the link you've posted is not the standard Lonestar, this one shown is actually a Limited Edition (1-2 made) for Harley Davidson, hence the colour scheme and crated Harley's on the trailer...

The Model is apparently well under way and as mentioned here, does appear to have been pushed back to early 2011. HOWEVER, the good new's is, unlike newer Italeri and Revell kit's, it's NOT going to be a curbside kit, it is believed to have the MaxxForce 15 in it and full detail throughout.

Here are some photos that were 'leaked' onto another Model Truck Forum.

This was posted on another board by the guy who is creating the model for Moebius. It shows the MaxxForce15 engine, interior, and other details.
