Hi all.

We'll after a blistering start I've come to a screaming halt. No work on this for a week. Why? Just as I started this supplies arrived for two other builds I'd like to get finished before our next club display. Excuses excuses. Anyway, here's a photo of my progress to date. I'll be spraying the chassis (semi gloss black) this weekend and hopefully getting the correct colour paint for the engline block. Constructive feedback more than welcome.

IF I did, would it still count as an entry in the group build?

Cheers

Not sure about that, but it would fit neatly into Hermon's EOD Campaign !!

Maybe...the whole purpose of these builds, aside from having fun, is to get folks building trucks again. You graft that chieftan well enough to the truck and I'd let it slide simply for creativity sake!

I'd class this as spam (again). If "Carmel Santos" has anythting to do with Models Trains Guide (which she does as this is the link for her www button) then the site is registered to Jay Stockwell of Superlever which seems to be making online marketing software. Contact [email protected] for more information. This is probably an exercise in boosting page ranking.

Season's greetings.

Well I might be slow on this one but it's still about average for me. Here's the latest update on my OTR build.

I'm working on the cab at the moment trying to get the joins looking reasonable before I prime. I also scratched a basic panel for under the bed in the sleeper giving the look of cupboards and drawers. Even though you can't see much when it's all put togheter just seeng that bed hanging in mid air annoyed the $#!t out of me.

Parts have been dechromed and tanks glued, filled and sanded. I'll be spraying the cab floor, seats and dash, sleeper interior, chassis and engine this afternoon.

Any suggestions on transmission colour? I'm not normally a truck person but would like something that looks right(ish).

Cheers

Looking good so far.

The transmission should be semi-gloss black (new) or oxide-red (rebuilt).
