Hi there.
I need some help.
I own a Italeri kit nr. 725 Jumbo Tank Trailer. (1992 - 1997)
But I somehow lost the instruction sheets.
The decals are in the box, but no instructions.
Can anyone please help me?

Erikssson.

Jim, it's not that one.
It's this one http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truckkit_instructions/italeri/0725-jumbo-fuel-tan/
It's a little bit different.

Oh, ok. I know model companies sometimes change the name of a kit when they reissue it. AMT was famous for changing decals & calling it a compltely different kit. figured Italeri did the same thing.

Hello Eric I believe the 731 is basically the same as your 725 outside of your tool box is the old style on the 725 and the 731 has the toolbox made into the flairing so they are basically the same and the other stuff stays the same outside of maybe the older models had regular tires and the newer trailers got these super single tires on them but a tire is a tire the only difference is there size and weight but they go together the same.

Hoi Kerry.
Found a picture of the 731 kit.
Looks almost the same.
It only looks more aerodynamic.
But I guess the building would be the same.
It's the undercarriage that is to difficult to put together without any plans.

That is what I was meaning was the undercarriage should be the same on all of them because if you look at one the other should be the same and the only difference I can see between the old and the new is one has 6 super single tires where the old ones might have 12 dual wheels but the undercarriage is the same on both of them that don't change.

Now on my old 45'x 96" trailer I used to own it only had Maxie brakes on one axle to where my 48'x 102" has maxies on both axles for more safety and even though my 45' only had a spring suspension and my 48' has airride they are both basically the same, the only difference is instead of the rear part of the spring going into the hanger it goes to that air bag in the back that is mounted to the cross members of the trailer.

Now on my 48' sense it has a 10'2" spread under it they had to put a flatbed frame under so it could withstand the stress of turning and things so Fruehauf had to send it from the van manufacturing plant here in Ohio over to their flatbed manufacturing plant over in Pennsylvania to put that flatbed frame under the suspension part of it, then the rest of it goes back to a van body under it.

Now me I been under so many trailers working on them so they all look the same to me just very little differences between all of them so they either have a spring suspension or airride but they all have mostly drum brakes and very few have disk brakes but none of these models I seen have disk brakes.
