Hi All
Here's another Brit, my Mini Cooper.
I was challenged to do something different with this by a mate, so some wiring to the engine was done. But that was not good enough, so I cut the boot open and detailed the inside with twin fuel tanks, rear seat panel, covered battery and spare wheel. Then finished it off with the framework for the boot lid.

I like it. The orange is a good choice for this little one. The dio is also nice.

I'm affraid to say, it's actually Red, Tamiya's Red. The lighting made it look Orange in the photo's.

That Mini is a gem. Nice work on the trunk...errr, boot.
The diorama/display is very cool. I laughed when I read the "No Parking" sign.

Turned out great--- one of my favorite little cars.
I actually have a kit of it, maybe someday I'll build it.

I sorta questioned the "red" in the 2nd and 5th pics, but dismissed it from what shown as ornange from the rest of them. What light setting do you have your camera on? I got a new camera {fuji JZ500} and it sometimes gives me fits with orange and red colors but I believe it has something to do with the background color affecting the car's color in the camera's eye.
BTW- really nice work on the whole thing!
Maybe try the car here in a different background, like the mustangs, and see how it shoots that way...the joys of these new-er cameras seeing what they want and not what we see...I shot pics of my red Ferrari 330P-4 and it too turned out orange looking to everyone..not so much to me because I knew the car was red and saw a tint of red in the pics I took.

When I took these photo's, it was before I started play with the white balance setting on the camera. I now use the custom white balance updating it through out each photo session.
The camera I use is a Fuji S7000 and the lighting is the spot lamps in the workshop boosted by two halogen flood lights on stands.
