Yet another OOB build, for the most part.

I added some Eduard setbelts and the decals are from Speedline. Decent little kit that built fairly well. I lowered the suspension a tad and have a back axle that's just a tad too long (despite drilling out the wheel mounts slightly).

Two biggest issues with an OOB build and these decals: wrong wheels (and I'm not buyng a $135 set to correct a $15 model) and the kit also lacks full windows on both sides of the car. These seem to be the 3/4 windows used on display cars. Again this is corrected in the SMS kit, but my days of AMS (you know, when I never actually finished anything) are over.

Oh well, it sure isn't a perfect build but I'm fine with it.

Great looking Vette Nathan. You should be fine with it.
Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks for the kind replies.

I made the mistake of looking at a few refs after I shot those photos and fixed a few areas I missed in the painiting (namely the circles behind the doors which are now black). Still can't tell if the ducts over the wheels are black or white (needless to say mine are going to be white!).

I would wager 99 percent of the people who see the car will never know...

Now to finish off a Revell DTM Mercedes that has been 3/4 finished for the last 2 weeks and then move forward with a Jordan EJ-10 F-1 car.

Thanks again!
