Some of you will remember this car from the 1997 season, others may have seen Eddie Jordan talking about it during the Silverstone coverage on the BBC the other week. Here is my Jordan 197, built from the Revell 1/24 kit

The model depicts Giancarlo Fisichella's car, which won podiums at Canada and Belgium that year, helping Jordan to 5th in the constructors championship. Not my best ever work but it brings to an end an long, barren 18 months without finishing a single model! I hope you like!

Beautiful work Neil. Are the Revell F1's curbside models?

Pardon my ignorance, but whats a curbside mode?

Actually Richard, it was quite easy. The Revell decals were good and responded well to Micro Sol, although the only ones that really needed it were the red snake body bits. I did learn however not to use decal softener on rubber tyres as it goes all sticky! Wrecked one of the goodyear decals (see front right wheel in last pic)

Curbside means body only without engine/ non-visible interior A lot of the more modern car models are curbside

Ah, OK. Like you say, it does come with an engine, but you can't display it without surgery.
