Let me first say that I am currently NOT a car model builder, though I DO have a 1/20 Tamiya Tyrrell P34 6 wheel race car that I started building some time ago, and is sitting on the shelf, waiting for more inspiration.

Since the Indy 500 is coming up soon, I was wondering if there are any kits of recent Indy cars. I really like the brand new Dallara DW12 cars, but I don't expect there will be a kit of that model car for some time, if ever. Not being a car guy, I was surprised there SEEMS to be no Indy cars at all, much less any current (or even recent) Indy cars. Can you tell me the most recent Indy car race year year that is modeled, if any?

I fear that there are no kits of the current DW12 nor the previous Indycar or Champcar. What is available is mid to late nineties. However I am sure that more can be found here
