So I want to paint my 55 Chevy Hardtop Bel Air coral and white. Can anyone recommend a name brand (Testors, Tamiya, etc) match for coral? I've been looking for a while and nothing seems even close. Model Car World stocks it, but it seems like a hassle to order and its expensive. If I have to go that route, has anyone used their paints? Any good? Thanks in advance for any help.

Take a look at http://www.hiroboy.com , if they don't have it they'll make it for you. I tried, and it worked just perfect.

Model Car World colors are matched to original paint chips or mixed to original formulas. Their paints are lacquers, so you have to be aware of how to use them, but they are perfect matches and buff up to beautiful finishes. You will get what you pay for from them; great finishes.

Thanks Norm. The SMW paints are on order. I'll post some pictures when I get the paint on the model.
