Nice review James, TBH If I was looking only at the sprues and instructions I would think that it's tamiya.

Kind regards,Sven.

Good eye Sven! From what I've read, Ebbro plastic models was started by a former Tamiya employee and this kit shows it. Ebbro has actually improved on some of the more complex areas such as the engine and exhaust to simplify construction without losing detail.

Thanks for the review James, these are beautiful kits for sure. There are already decal sets to fill in the missing or incorrect decals for most of the kits. The stripes on those sheets only have clear carrier film around them, rather than body colored surroundings. These kits really beg for Alclad

James, a very concise and fair review. While I build almost all aircraft these days, I've always had an interest in formula 1 from the mid 60 through the 70s, when I actively followed the sport. I tried a few Tamiya 1/20 scale kits, but the exhausts were more then I could handle, and just never looked right. Now with Ebbros 2 pc exhaust, things are looking up. I do find it simply amazing that they could misspell Peterson's name, and no one caught this! All the Lotuses are on my to build list, with the 49C of Jimmy Clark being #1.
