A wonderful review James.
This kit is on my need to have list. It's way faster than the Enzo and looks so much better.
On the workbench:
MPC: 1972 Pontiac GTO
Revell: 1965 Mustang
Verlinden 120mm guard of the marine.
Revell: 2010 Camaro
Monogram: 1931 Rolls Royce
Italeri: LVT2 Amtrac

I actually got to see a test shot of this about a month ago, and this kit is even nicer looking than your already good photos can depict. I really like the engineering of this kit. I had the same impression that it was designed to make the building and painting process much less troublesome and more enjoyable.
I'm not surprised to see the Bridgestone Potenza series of tires in the kit, given their relationship with Ferrari. I think the Pirelli P Zero tires are supposed to be a next-gen tire, and Tamiya may not have licensing rights to them yet.
