I received this kit today that I am going to be doing a build review of.

Aoshima Models - The Road Warrior Mad Max 2 Interceptor 1973 XB GT Ford Falcon Coupe Kit, 1:24 Scale.

The Road Warrior is one of my all time favorite movies so I am looking forward to building this kit. I hope to get started on it soon.

Thank you,
Randy

AWESOME!! and my experience with Aoshima kits is also that they are awesome.
The black car is fantastic news. My immediate questions though are-- did this car have side windows in the movie? And, any indication of a police interceptor kit from the first Mad Max?
Thanks, Harv! I'll be watching this build.

The quarter windows were there but I do not recall the door windows ever being shown.

There have been a few produced.

Cavalier Mad Max Interceptor Model Kit – CV2409 – 1/25

Planet X Ford Falcon (Mad Max) – 1/25 – they also made a yellow, red and blue MFP Pursuit car from the first movie

Rebellion Creations Interceptor kit – 1/25

Bang Productions / TNT Kit – MFP V-8 Interceptor – 1/25

Vision Quest Designs Mad Max Interceptor – 1/24

A/FX also makes/(made?) a resin conversion kit to make the Aoshima Models kit back into the original version.

You're welcome Sean. Hopefully I do a decent build review of the kit.

Thanks,
Randy

You're welcome KoSprueOne. For everyone's information I have started a seperate post where I will be doing the build blog. So I am going to ask for this post to be locked.

Thank you,
Randy
