My current build is Revell's 1/16 Ford model T.
The trouble I have is that The radiator grill should be dark grey (almost black), and the Ford logo in the middle of it, that is slightly raised (around 0.1 mm), should be painted gold.
I had an idea to paint logo gold (it would be unavoidable to partly paint radiator grill, too) with enamel paint, and then paint everything in dark grey with acrylic paint.
While the grey paint is still not dry, to try removing excess grey paint from logo with a cotton swab dipped in acrylic turpentine.
This is just my theory, so I didn't test it.
I am hoping some of you guys had experiences like this, and can help me with a suggestion.
