I just ordered this Tamiya Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R and I was wondering who makes an acrylic colour that matches this green. I prefer using acrylics.. I looked at Tamiya's paints, but I didn't see a match

Thanks in advance for any advice

Maybe Vallejo Lime Green (LJ 70.827). Good luck!

Cool looking kit Hisham, I hope we will get to see it built

Another choice from the Vallejo catalog might be 72732 Escorpena Green in the Game Air range, or 62039 from the premium lineup.

I have to agree with you, James. No. 72732 looks very close to factory although No. 62039 is kind of a cool custom color.

I didn't have these extensive catalogs before ... but I do now!

Thanks for those two suggestions, James.. I'll look for them.. although the stores I usually buy from mostly carry the military colours, and maybe some of the game range colours. I tried both Hobbyeasy and Luckymodel (where I buy 90% of my modelling stuff) but I couldn't find them. Do you know an online store that carries the full Vallejo line?

Thanks again, guys

Found this one in stock on Amazon (Vallejo 62039)

http://www.amazon.com/Vallejo-Premium-Color-60ml-Fluorescent/dp/B007K95A7C/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1407069507&sr=8-2-fkmr0&keywords=vallejo+acrylic+paint+62039

I struck out on Vallejo (72732) though; it might just be part of a set.

Try contacting ScaleHobbyist.com. Maybe they can special order it; they have really good customer service. They have Vallejo (70827) in stack.

Yeah, its hard to find the full range in one place! Mike has a great suggestion with Scale Hobbyist, good people to deal with. Or contact Scott at Elm City Hobbies and he may be able to help:

Here's some for Scorpy Green Game Color (72032) :

Maybe the Game Air isn't available yet? Hopefully you can find something closer to home

The 72732 isn't available. If you want the 62039 it can be arranged.

Thank you for contacting us.

Thanks, Michael, I'll contact them and see if we can work it out.. I'll see what they got in the way of kits first.. I don't think I'll just order one paint bottle.. the shipping to Egypt would probably be 3 or 4 times the price

Oh, yeah, that would be very pricy indeed.

Sounds familiar though: Need a bottle of paint ... and wind up ordering three kits, five figure sets, vehicle stowage, PE, tools, putty, etc. ... all just to make the shipping count!

Good luck with the Ninja build!

PS: I almost bought a brand new Lime Green 2008 Ninja ZX-10R back when I worked in a bike shop -- got sold out from under me. Then a black one came in; I snatched it up before it was ever uncrated! Sweet ride!

Well, I contacted them and unfortunately they only ship to the US and Canada.. but it's OK, I also contacted Daniel at Hobbyeasy where I buy most of my stuff, and he's gotten some hard to find items for me before.. so I'm kind of hopeful

I used to own a Yamaha FZR 1000R way back in 1985 when I was living in the States.. If I remember correctly I paid $8000 for it brand new.. it was a beautiful bike! Unfortunately bikes are extremely expensive here in Egypt because of the high customs and taxes they slap on them since they are considered a luxury, so I can't afford one So, I'm green with envy I'll just have to be content with the small plastic ones

Thanks again for your help
Hisham
