My only observation is that you opted not to remove the molded on AMT kit info on both sides of the interior pan, but once it's in your display case, it does become a moot point.
Thanks Joel. I'm not overly fussed about having the manufacturers info on the underside, it will never be seen. In fact, sometimes I prefer to leave it there to give the kit some history.
More progress tonight with the chrome trims and bumpers fitted off. The will need some cleaning up and a drop of touch-up from the Molotow pen as the sprue attachment points are almost all on the visible surfaces (thanks very much Revell).
Probably the final part to be added is the one I've been dreading the most and eyeing off for the whole build. I attacked the windscreen frame tonight and had to sand off most of the chrome plating to get rid of flash and defects. It really was bad compared with most of the other parts. My plan now is to strip the chrome, clean up the part, then cement the windscreen into place and BMF the frame prior to gluing it in place.
Time will tell if my plan will work!
