With the seat/floor in the body sits stock height:-

The body will be lowered by 3/16" onto the frame:-

Excellent choice of model. Lowering it is a good move.

The seat tub is going into the parts bin as it makes the body ride to high, so I have cut a new floor to fit inside with a 3/16" inset form sheet stock:-

After the glued in floor had set it was time to channel 3/16" out of the body:-

Next up will be glue and filler:-

Thank for stopping by!
